Distilling complex narratives into clear, engaging design, Ben Brannan is an independent designer and brand consultant specialising in brand identity and visual systems.

Created in collaboration with Mark Porter Associates, the design and development of Voor.kennis (‘prior knowledge’) for Het Financieele Dagblad (FD) reimagined how compelling design could support analysis of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. Created for a discerning business audience, as part of a wider redesign that saw FD Weekend named European Newspaper of the Year.

Design direction and development of print communications for Rapha, the international luxury cycling and lifestyle brand. Crafting premium, brand-in-the-hand projects to engage and grow Rapha’s international community, Studio Brannan helped extend Rapha’s vision through magazines, newspapers and books, and across its global network of stores.
